A Message from the Head of Department 

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Pathology at the University of Health and Allied Sciences, a cornerstone of medical education and healthcare delivery. As the discipline that forms the essential link between the foundational sciences and the art of clinical practice, pathology empowers healthcare professionals with the ability to understand the causes and mechanisms of disease, interpret laboratory findings, and translate scientific insights into life-saving clinical decisions. 

Our Department is deeply committed to equipping students with the theoretical knowledge, practical laboratory skills and critical analytical thinking required to diagnose diseases with accuracy, conduct impactful research and contribute to the advancement of medical science. Through a combination of interactive lectures, problem-based learning and immersive laboratory sessions, our students gain firsthand experience with state-of-the-art diagnostic technologies, ranging from histopathology and cytology to molecular diagnostics and forensic pathology.
