  2. Dr. Emily Boakye-Yiadom of the Department of Microbiology was awarded a $9,997.55 Global Pathology Grant by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) Foundation in October 2022. This grant is part of the 2022 CAP Foundation Global Pathology Award and funds laboratory supplies for her study titled: 
    “Diagnostic Comparison and Laboratory Characterization of Oral Isolates of Candida Species in the Ho Municipality of Ghana.”
  3. Professor Harry Tagbor received a prestigious research grant of £577,983.09 from the Science for Africa Foundation (SFA) for the Malaria and Neglected Tropical Disease Research Capacity Development (MARCAD-Plus) project in West Africa. This grant strengthens regional capacity to address endemic diseases.
  4. Professor Frank Edwin was awarded $21,888.90 by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) to support Phase 1 of the AHOMKA Project, which focuses on the development of a culturally adapted mobile health (mHealth) intervention for the management of hypertension in both urban and rural regions of Ghana.
