RUFAI SAFIANU

SYLVANUS KAMPORufai Safianu was appointed Assistant Lecturer in the School of Medicine of the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho, Ghana in June, 2018. He teaches physiology.

Education

He had his first degree in Biological Sciences at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, and later pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Human Physiology in the same University. He also holds of a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education at the University of Education, Winneba.

Work Experience

Mr. Rufai Safianu worked as a biology and integrated science teacher with the Ghana Education Service for ten years before joining the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho. He has been an Examiner for the West African Examinations Council for 9 years.

Science/Research output

His main area of research interest is cardiovascular physiology with special interest in hypertension and the physiology of fluid intake. His manuscript is currently under review with the International Journal of Hypertension.
