General Overview of the School
The School of Medicine, one of the six schools of the University of Health and Allied Sciences, was established in 2012. It is committed to the education and training of highly qualified medical professionals who will be recognized by their excellence, integrity and innovation in the service and care they provide. The School currently runs two programmes: Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) and Bachelor of Physician Assistantship (Clinical).

The School of Medicine is dedicated to providing innovative leadership in modern medical education, research, health improvement and patient focused care and to the training of professionals serving in communities with competence and compassion.

To produce competent and compassionate medical professionals with effective leadership skills and a focus on community service and research.
