Dr Ketemepi is a Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with the department of Surgery in the School of Medicine. He is a member of the Ghana College of surgeons. He is also a certified Dental laser practitioner and an oral implantologist.
Education
Gabriel obtained a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences in 2006 followed by a degree in Dental Surgery in 2010 all from the University of Ghana. He later completed a residency program of the Ghana college of Physicians and Surgeons at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. He has completed several certification programs in Oral surgery and Dentistry as well.
Work experience
Dr. Ketemepi had worked all through the country. He had his housemanship training at the 37 military Hospital, at Accra in 2010 and continued as a senior house officer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Hospital in Kumasi. He then moved further North to Tamale Teaching Hospital in 2012 where he worked for over 2 years before returning to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital for residency training from 2014 to 2017. He is back to the University of Health and Allied Sciences as a faculty member.
Research interests
Dr Ketemepi is interested in the impaction patterns of third molar teeth and hopes to complete his research works to provide a realistic clear picture of third molar impaction in Ghana.
