Dr. Duniesky Martinez Lopez is Cuban, Lecturer and Fellow in Family Medicine and Community Health. He also is the Module Coordinator at the School of Medicine (UHAS). Prior to this, he was the National Deputy Coordinator of the Cuban Medical Brigade. Ministry of Health. Accra. Before this period he was the Municipal Director of Public Health. Calimete. Matanza for 4 year and Municipal Director of Epidemiology and Hygienic at the same place for 1 year.
Education
He had his medical education as Doctor in Medicine at University for Medical Sciences of Matanzas. Cuba. And later he did the Fellow in family medicine and community health (first degree) at the same institution.
Work experience
He practised as a doctor in a rural cuba for one year, after he continued with the Fellowship in family Medicine and Community Health. Forming part of the Cuban Medical Brigade he came to Ghana and worked at Full time Family Medicine Specialist at Municipal Hospital Sunyani. Brong Ahafo Region. Ghana and as Regional Coordinator of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Brong ahafo Region during 3 years, them he was promoted to National Deputy Coordinator of the Cuban Medical Brigade. Ministry of Health. Accra. Ghana. After some period he came back to ghana and worked at SDA Hospital koforidua before come to the university. Nowadays he has 12 years of doctor experience and 10 years as family madicineand commuity healt.

He has done different research like Anaemia in Children between 0-5 years, Cuban Medical Brigade Behaviour, Management of the stroke at Sunyani Municipal Hospital he has received diferent courses amaong her work, between we can found Advanced Course of Hypertension Management, Course of Sexual transmited infection and Course of Management of Pregnancy.
